Public Policy

BioSTL leads in creating innovation policy that supports a friendly environment for science, innovation, and entrepreneurship on the local, state and federal levels. BioSTL organizes a unified approach to government relations, legislation, and public policy so that the St. Louis region speaks with a cohesive voice.

Increased Entrepreneurship Support

BioSTL builds and leads coalitions to advocate for local, state and federal policies that strengthen public/private partnerships to best support innovation and entrepreneurship.

BioSTL co-founded the Innovation Advocacy Council to advocate and educate on Capitol Hill. The IAC is the policy arm of SSTI, a national association creating a better future through science, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Similarly, BioSTL also co-founded NEXT Missouri to engage Missouri lawmakers on matters important to growing the economy through supporting entrepreneurship.
