Regional Youth Employment Coalition

BioSTL is committed to increasing exposure, placement, and advancement in quality bioscience jobs, focused on those historically excluded from the region’s bioscience innovation economy. We are the proud backbone organization for the Regional Youth Employment Coalition (RYEC).

Established in 2018, RYEC is a region-wide collaborative focused on increasing youth employability and growing diverse talent pipelines. This collaborative effort includes organizations who represent non-profits, school districts, businesses, job training programs, and government agencies in the workforce development ecosystem. 

MISSION: To foster economic empowerment through a racial-equity lens by increasing youth employability, growing diverse talent pipelines, and impacting systemic change as a synergistic, passion-driven collaborative.

Age Range: Youth ages 13-26 

Geography: St. Louis Metropolitan Statistical Area
