Grant Downes
JSMF Venture Fellow
Grant Downes is currently a 2025 JSMF Venture Fellow at BioGenerator Ventures. He is also the President and Co-founder of TrueBind Bio, a St. Louis-based biotech company developing precision protein binders to accelerate discovery for research and biotechnology partners. Grant is a biomolecular engineer by-training having earned his PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Kansas under the supervision of Dr. Cory Berkland, PhD. He earned his B.S. in biomedical engineering from Wichita State University. He is also a former Division I track & field student-athlete.
