JSMF Venture Fellow

Chris Pulliam, PhD is a Venture Fellow at BioGenerator, where he focuses on identifying promising technologies, evaluating commercial opportunities, and building science-driven startups. Chris brings a multidisciplinary background spanning analytical chemistry, data science, and technology development. Prior to joining BioGenerator, he served as a Senior Analytical Data Scientist at Procter & Gamble, where he applied advanced analytics and emerging technologies to solve complex scientific and business challenges.

Chris earned his PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Purdue University, where his research focused on developing mass spectrometry technologies that bring sophisticated chemical analysis beyond traditional laboratory environments. His current entrepreneurial interests center on a simple observation: buildings have no memory. While buildings are among our most valuable assets, we have remarkably little information about how their environmental conditions change over time. Chris is exploring how chemical measurements, existing building infrastructure, and data science can establish environmental baselines, document changes, and provide objective evidence following events such as fires, floods, and renovations.

Through his work at BioGenerator, Chris is passionate about translating scientific capabilities into practical solutions and connecting with researchers, industry experts, and entrepreneurs who share an interest in building new technologies and businesses.
