BioSTL is hiring a Manager of Employer Partnerships to play a key role in implementing BioSTL’s regional workforce strategy across the plant, life, and medical sciences to advance the goal of ensuring St. Louis’ bioscience talent is a strength of the region. The Manager of Employer Partnerships will build and maintain strong employer, training provider, and community relationships to meet talent and employment goals. This position will report to the Director of Regional Workforce Strategy. The Manager of Employer Partnerships will be a full-time, salaried position with BioSTL.
As a member of the BioSTL team, the Manager of Employer Partnerships will focus on building deep, trusted partnerships that create significant value for each employer in their portfolio. The Manager of Employer Partnerships will work directly with employers to understand their talent and workforce needs and facilitate solutions in partnership with training providers, community organizations, and the region’s workforce system. The Manager of Employer Partnerships will also support the Director of Regional Workforce Strategy on sector-wide workforce initiatives, including skills-based programming and measurement and evaluation. The available position allows for different degrees of supporting or leadership roles, commensurate with demonstrated experience.
Ability to engage diverse audiences of various organizational levels; analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills; multi-stakeholder engagement and partnership leadership; ability to work collaboratively as well as independently to achieve goals.
